Sales Manager

Successful IT services and consulting company providing managed IT services in the New Jersey and New York Metro area for many types of businesses is seeking a sales professional to join our team headquartered in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a solid understanding of IT managed Services. To be successful, the candidate will have demonstrated skills in finding and managing new leads, developing relationships and closing new business.

You will be responsible for finding new leads through a variety of tactics including cold calling and networking; consistently updating lead data in our CRM software; engaging prospects to discover, define and document their pressing business needs; working internally with technical resources to put together solutions and proposals; then presenting the appropriate IT solutions to help businesses address their needs, ultimately closing new business. You would also then continually work with clients to do regular business reviews, uncovering new opportunities for additional IT solutions to help them.

We are seeking a highly professional individual that is passionate about developing business relationships and helping organizations grow through implementing IT solutions, and one that has demonstrated experience and comfort in strong prospecting via cold calling, attending local networking events, and developing relationships in the local business community.

The desired candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of sales experience, preferably solution-based selling, A working understanding of computer networks and business technology, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude and a high energy level, self-starter with motivation to constantly improve and meet long and short term goals and must be results driven.
