Each year, Seamen’s Society for Children and Families hosts their annual gala to support the great programs that help their community, and this year was no different!
This year, the nonprofit, which aims to provide high quality services in the community to strengthen and preserve families, celebrated 172 years of community service at their 2018 Casino Royale Gaming and Cocktail Party.
The event also honored two foster care families and presented them with the “Roots & Wings” Appreciation Award. Recipients, Axa and Mark Waters and Sheryl and Robert Cotter, were recognized for their challenging, yet rewarding, work as foster parents and their relentless commitment to the children
The evening was well attended by the community, government leaders, the board, friends of Seamen’s Society, and the Online Computers staff. It was night full of friends and fun, and we are so honored to have had the opportunity to help celebrate and sponsor the event for a second year in a row. The nonprofit does so many great things for the New York Community and we are always happy to support our friends at Seamen’s Society!
